How will biomechanics and orthotics help me?
Many common complaints such as heel pain, knee pain and lower back pain can be caused by poor foot mechanics.
To correct this a Biomechanical assessment is performed involving a complex evaluation of the feet, legs and body position whilst weight-bearing and non weight -bearing. This helps to gain a thorough understanding of the mechanics, weight placement and body movement that can place stress on your feet and body.
Orthotics are shaped insoles placed inside shoes with the purpose of aiding the correction of any findings from the Biomechanical assessment. Where appropriate Orthotics will be adapted to your requirements, which will help correct the natural balance of the body which has been disrupted and aid recovery.
